Earthquake Network
Earthquake Network is an iOS app for earthquake information and early warning. It uses the accelerometers in users' smartphones to detect earthquakes in real time and sends alerts to app users, potentially seconds before damaging waves arrive. The app provides real time alerts, user reports on felt earthquakes, and free earthquake data from 21 seismic networks. Optional subscriptions place users on priority alert lists of the first 10,000 or 100,000 people notified.
