Information you provide
Email and contact enquiries
The email briefing form asks for one item: your email address. We use it to record your request for Risefinder updates. The hidden anti-spam field is ignored for genuine submissions.
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, selected topic and message. Resend processes these details to deliver the enquiry to our operator inbox. Risefinder does not store contact-form submissions in its application database.
Information handled automatically
Usage and performance
Hosting and security systems may process standard request information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser and time of access. Vercel Web Analytics stores anonymized page-view data without cookies. Speed Insights records anonymous performance data such as route, device type, browser, country and web-vital measurements.
Public-source information
Published entities
Risefinder publishes information gathered from public sources about websites, products, repositories, apps and companies. This usually concerns organizations or products, but a public listing may sometimes contain a person’s name or professional profile.
What we do not ask for
No account or payment data
Risefinder does not currently offer user accounts, accept payments or ask visitors for telephone numbers, postal addresses, passwords or payment-card details. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in a contact message.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for requested email updates; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the site; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for email updates at any time.
These providers may process information in countries outside your own. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not permit service providers to use subscriber information for their own advertising.
Links from Risefinder lead to independent websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this one.
Retention
Subscriber emails are kept while the briefing list remains active, until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, or until they are no longer needed. Limited records may be retained longer where reasonably required for security, dispute resolution, backups or legal compliance.
Contact messages are kept in the operator mailbox only for as long as needed to respond, maintain an appropriate business record, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. They are not added to the subscriber list unless the sender separately subscribes.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and service providers with security measures intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we limit collection and access to reduce risk.
