Global Standards is an independent non-profit organisation that develops voluntary sustainability standards for textiles. It develops and operates two standards, GOTS for organic textiles and GRTS for textiles made with fibres meeting GRTS material requirements. These standards set published material, processing, environmental, social, traceability and labelling requirements for activities within the certified scope, and businesses can pursue certification through approved certification bodies.
