Security for Bitbucket Enhanced Secret Scanner by Soteri is a paid Bitbucket Data Center app that scans repositories for sensitive data such as passwords, API keys, SSH keys, usernames, and personally identifiable information. It can scan committed code per repository, per project, or globally, and uses a pre-receive hook to reject new commits containing secrets, with a warn-only mode that notifies without blocking. It also offers CSV exports, a REST API, and 40 or more built-in detection patterns plus custom patterns.
