Voice dictation for macOS that runs on the device using Apple's own speech framework, with no account, no API key and no audio leaving the machine. Press a shortcut, talk, press it again, and the text lands in whatever field you were already typing in. Transcripts are kept locally so anything can be copied again later. It is free and open source.

A video and audio editor where you edit the transcript instead of a timeline. Drop in a file and it is transcribed on the device with per word timestamps and speaker labels; delete a word and the matching piece of media is cut. Nothing is uploaded, and it runs either in a browser or as a desktop application on macOS, Windows and Linux.

A single native binary that runs the complete 2.8 trillion parameter Kimi K3 on consumer hardware with nothing pruned and nothing skipped. Small draft models are allowed to guess ahead for speed, but K3 checks every guess, so quality is never traded away. The published benchmark history shows throughput on an M1 Max laptop rising from 0.014 to 0.29 tokens per second over three weeks.

Flagged 30 July 2026 · 429 → 663 stars · +54.5%
Signal

Stars 264 to 429, up 62.5%, and forks 22 to 41, up 86.4%. Forks growing faster than stars on day one, on the HackerNews front page with 87 comments. Open issues sitting at 1 means nobody has hit a wall yet.

How to read this

Method

Every riser shows the earlier and latest reading. Count-based signals also show their percentage change. Rankings show the number of positions climbed from the earlier position to the latest one; a lower position is better.

Funding rounds show disclosed amounts and targets. Company rank movement shows a third-party 90-day momentum signal, current position and observation date. Archived briefings preserve each day’s published signals and follow-ups.
