runtimewire.com

Website · seen by Company rank data, Search volume, HackerNews, OpenPageRank, Pricing page, Tranco, Wikipedia

A news site covering the AI industry as it happens: funding rounds, model launches, infrastructure changes and founder moves, filed as short scoops rather than weekly summaries. It competes on speed of publication against the general technology press, so the interesting measurement for a site like this is whether readers arrive directly or only through aggregators.

Flagged 9 August 2026 · 3.49 → 4.69 authority · +34.4%
Signal

Runtimewire expanded its pricing from two tiers to four and appeared on Hacker News with 22 comments on the same day. The new plans show a change in how it offers the product; the discussion shows attention, not necessarily customer growth.

Repository · seen by GitHub, HackerNews, Lobsters

A leaderboard for the slowest possible single machine instruction, from the reverse engineer behind the sandsifter processor fuzzer. Instruction analysis normally chases speed; this deliberately searches for the floor. The current x86 champion takes 198 billion cycles, about 62 seconds, by making one instruction load processor state across a deliberately saturated PCIe fabric. Setup can be anything, but only one instruction is scored.

Flagged 9 August 2026 · 567 → 991 stars · +74.8%
Signal

Stars 339 to 567 in a day, up 67.3%, with forks up 150% and open issues up 100%, and GitHub, HackerNews and Lobsters all seeing it at once. Lobsters points more than tripled, 16 to 54. Five forks on 567 stars this early says people are submitting entries, not just reading them.

How to read this

Method

Every riser shows the earlier and latest reading. Count-based signals also show their percentage change. Rankings show the number of positions climbed from the earlier position to the latest one; a lower position is better.

Funding rounds show disclosed amounts and targets. Company rank movement shows a third-party 90-day momentum signal, current position and observation date. Archived briefings preserve each day’s published signals and follow-ups.
